Our History
Founded in 2014 by two former Toyota India professionals, Gemba Concepts was born out of a mission to translate the rigor of the Toyota Way into a broader business philosophy. The founders, once part of Toyota’s vendor development program, helped suppliers establish facilities, streamline supply chains, and optimize costs work that revealed a much larger opportunity: transforming how SMEs and family-run businesses operate and sustain profitability.
What began with just 2 clients, including Laguna Clothing Pvt. Ltd. in the Apparel Sector quickly expanded across industries such as FMCG, Textiles, Home Appliances, Aerospace, and Metals & Mining. Within 3 years, a small boutique consultancy in Bangalore had evolved into a pan-India transformation partner.
Today, with over 250+ professionals, including engineers, operations experts, and strategists, Gemba Concepts continues to apply proven manufacturing excellence and Lean Operations from the Toyota Philosophy to diverse sectors helping organizations unlock efficiency, scalability, and long-term value.
